In the summer of 2021, we feel it is more important than ever for our children to be able to socialize. Kids need an opportunity to feel like kids again. And to that we say… CAMP IS CALLING!
Premiering in our two Rhode Island locations, Wide World Wolf Pack is a youth sports camp that provides a state-of-the-art facility for all ages and abilities. Our mission is to provide kids a safe and rich environment for active play which allows them to develop valuable skills, think critically, and create meaningful relationships.
Young campers will begin as wolf pups, grow through our programs, and graduate as alpha wolves.
Our primary focus is active play…
The simple act of play allows children to be socially, mentally, and physically active. Campers will rotate through different sports, new games, and activities on a daily basis. They will be guided, coached, but most importantly, they will get a chance to express themselves and feel like kids.
Just like wolves in a pack, kids learn from each other…
The ability to communicate and problem-solve with others is a skill that can be improved upon by the simple act of playing. Positive outlets and strong support systems are created by learning different sports and participating in activities together. Kids form a sense of identity when they overcome challenges and conquer obstacles.
From Wolf Pup to Alpha Wolf
Children ages 3-5 can enroll as a Wolf Pup in our two-hour morning program. Ages 6-13 join the Wolf Pack, our full-day camp program. Teens up to age 16 become Alpha Wolves and help our camp leaders. They organize and help the wolf pack move and function as a team. Our goal is to help Wolf Pups develop into strong, independent Alpha Wolves.
Sample schedule for a day as a member of our Wolf Pack…
Wolf Pups | Ages 3-5

In this 2-hour camp program your little ones will be introduced to camp life that will excite and engage. Pups will participate in dozens of activities that will engage them both mentally and physically. They will work with their peers to solve problems and be introduced to age-appropriate benchmarks such as sharing, caring, and making friends.

Wolves | Ages 6-13
Monday-Friday | 9am-4pm
The pace of this program is designed to keep kids engaged and truly love being at camp. Our facilities allow us to create several stations, both indoors and outdoors, where groups can rotate between physical and mental activities. Some stations will require high energy output while others will be a chance to relax and engage in thought.
Staff will mentor and support the kids. However, instruction will be a secondary benefit as the priority is to have fun in a safe environment without the pressures of needing to be great at every station. We know by rotating kids though several stations they will have stations they prefer and excel at and others that will challenge them. Our goal is to have campers learn from each other and work together. Everyone has a place in the wolf pack.

Alpha Wolves | Ages 14-16
Monday–Friday | 9am – 12pm or 1pm – 4pm
Alpha Wolves are leaders. They organize and help the wolf pack move and function as a team.
For this unique program we will take our older kids and give them leadership training in a fun setting. Alpha Wolves work closely with our own trained counselors, shadowing their movements and helping us with the day-to-day functions of camp.
They have two components of camp:
In one component they will get time with their peers playing sports, using the facilities, and enjoying being a teenager. The second component will be working with our Wolf Pups and Wolves to help guide them through their own play and daily activities. This program will give your teenagers life skills that will quickly translate into seasonal employment. While they are still very much learners in life, they are also great teachers. All of their own experiences during childhood are relevant, and kids learn best from each other. It is our goal that every Wolf aspires to be an Alpha Wolf and that our campers become counselors.
